LET'S PLAY TWO: MLB headed over to London for two Yankees-Red Sox games this weekend. Fox on Saturday from 1:00-6:00pm ET drew a 2.3 overnight for the first game. Yesterday, ESPN drew a 1.7 overnight for the game from 10:00am-2:30pm. Both of those games topped the Braves-Mets “Sunday Night Baseball” telecast last night (1.0) and the MLB regionalized primetime telecast on Fox on Saturday night (1.5).
NIGHT MOVES: The first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race of the ’19 season for NBC Sports saw a three-hour weather delay yesterday, pushing NBCSN’s telecast from Chicagoland into primetime. The race from 6:30-9:15pm ET drew a 1.4 overnight, down from a 1.6 last year for the same race, which had an afternoon window. Two years ago, NBC Sports began its Cup coverage from Daytona.
