Redskins Owner DAN SNYDER yesterday arrived to the Cannes Lions festival in his $180M yacht, as sources speculated that he was there to "find a title sponsor for the team’s new stadium." Snyder "hopes to build a new facility at the site of RFK Stadium." On Monday night, Snyder "hosted a dinner and party on board" with guests including NFL Senior VP/Global Brand & Consumer Marketing JULIE HADDON and Outfront Media CCO ANDY SRIUBAS. Another source insisted that Snyder and his team are "laid-back about the sponsor search, and are at Cannes Lions this year mostly to mingle" (NYPOST.com, 6/18).

NOT GOING AWAY: Alameda County (Calif.) Sgt. RAY KELLY said that Oracle Arena security footage and police body camera video "back up" the sheriff deputy’s version of events in his incident with Raptors President of Basketball Operations MASAI UJIRI following NBA Finals Game 6. The deputy claims he was the "victim of an unprovoked assault" and has "hired Sacramento-based, civil-rights lawyer DAVID MASTAGNI to look into filing claims against Ujiri." Mastagni claims his client "suffered a serious jaw injury and concussion and requires time off to recover" (TORONTO SUN, 6/19).

CINDERELLA STORY: Former NFLer MICHAEL LEWIS has "signed a deal to develop his underdog story into a movie." Lewis was a "former beer truck driver" who eventually earned a roster spot with his hometown Saints. Screenwriter DAVID DUBOS will "write the film, with the hope of having the project ready to go before cameras" as early as this winter. The film "doesn't yet have a title or a distributor" (NOLA.com, 6/18).
