Blues-Bruins Game 7 Ticket Prices Surging On Secondary Market
Tomorrow night's Blues-Bruins matchup at TD Garden will mark the first Stanley Cup Final Game 7 the Bruins have ever hosted, and ticket demand "is high," according to Darren Hartwell of NBCSPORTSBOSTON.com. The "cheapest tickets" for the game listed on secondary-market vendors as of yesterday are as follows: Vivid Seats: $1,441; TicketIQ: $1,528; StubHub: $1,644. The average ticket price for Game 7 on TicketIQ is "well north of $3,000." Per TicketIQ, tomorrow's game will be the "second-most expensive potential title-clinching game in Boston sports history, trailing only" the Patriots' Super Bowl LIII victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and "more than double" the Red Sox' '13 World Series-clinching victory in Game 6 at Fenway Park (NBCSPORTSBOSTON.com, 6/10). Meanwhile, in Boston, Andrew Mahoney noted the Red Sox have "moved the start time" of tomorrow's home game against the Rangers from 7:10pm to 4:05pm ET as a "courtesy to fans who want to watch" Blues-Bruins, which is scheduled to start at 8:23pm and will air on NBC (BOSTON.com, 6/10).
