As of yesterday afternoon, the GoFundMe for Bramblett's children had raised $205,708AUBURN UNIV.

The GoFundMe set up for the children of late Auburn broadcaster ROD BRAMBLETT and his wife, PAULA,received a "generous donation" of $25,000 from Apple CEO and Auburn alumnus TIM COOK. As of yesterday afternoon, the GoFundMe had raised $205,708, with donations from Cook, Auburn baseball coach BUTCH THOMPSON and his wife, ROBIN, NFL Senior VP & Chief Information Officer MICHELLE MCKENNA (an Auburn graduate), Auburn booster RAYMOND HARBERT, Florida AD SCOTT STRICKLIN and several others (AL.com, 5/28).

LAW & ORDER: New Mexico dropped its lawsuit against Chiefs Chair & CEO CLARK HUNT and other defendants, which "accused them in a kickback scheme tied to former Gov. BILL RICHARDSON’s administration," after approving a $5.65M settlement. The lawsuit had "accused Hunt of improperly securing hundreds of millions of dollars in state investment money through a 'pay to play' arrangement 14 years ago with political insiders ANTHONY and MARC CORRERA" (KANSASCITY.com, 5/28).

COME TOGETHER: Representatives from the ED SNIDER and GORDIE HOWE Foundations formed a multiyear partnership yesterday that will "help youths who want to play hockey." The Howe Foundation will present $5,000 per season from the “Mr. Hockey” scholarship to the boys’ program of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation. It will also donate $5,000 per season from the “Mrs. Hockey” scholarship to the Snider Hockey girls’ program (PHILLY.com, 5/28).
