Tim Anderson Champions Changing Baseball In New Adidas TV Ad

White Sox SS Tim Anderson "doubles down on his recent declaration that baseball is boring in a new ad for Adidas baseball," according to Mike Sansone of the CHICAGO TRIBUNE. Adidas "clearly hopes to capitalize on the attention Anderson has received since his exuberant bat flip against the Royals last month, which resulted in a retaliatory plunking and subsequent benches-clearing incident." Anderson in the spot says, “I play with a lot of excitement, a lot of passion. You know, I have a lot of fun." He adds, “We’re going to keep stealing bases. We’re going to keep creating moments that will be remembered. And we’ll keep having fun.” The commercial "ends, naturally, with Anderson flipping his bat." Anderson: “The game’s boring. Watch me change it" (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 5/23).
