CAA Sports Wins Best In Property Consulting, Sales, Client Services

With four wins out of seven nominations, CAA Sports is becoming the Yankees of the Sports Business Awards. Still, Global Head of Sales Paul Danforth said holding the SBA crystal never gets old. “Winning in front of all your friends, in a business as competitive as any, is something everyone should experience,” said Danforth, minutes after accepting the award for Property Consulting, Sales and Client Services, “just not necessarily in this category.” Highlights cited by Danforth over the  past year were the company’s work on the Chase Center, the future home of the Warriors that is scheduled to open later this year; flipping longtime sponsor Coca-Cola for Pepsi at Madison Square Garden; and a series of F1 marketing and media deals.
