Warren Thune Named CEO Of New Advance Platform Leaders Group

Advance and its subsidiary, American City Business Journals, have formed Leaders Group, a new operating company which will bring Advance's B2B sports, esports and gaming businesses under one umbrella and build on the foundation of Sports Business Journal and Sports Business Daily, and include Leaders, The Esports Observer and Newzoo. Leaders Group named Gartner Group President of SaaS and Technology Enabled Services WARREN THUNE CEO, and he will work with the management and leadership teams at each of those entities to build their respective businesses. Thune spent 14 years in a series of exec roles at Gartner before his appointment at Leaders Group. He said, "This is an exciting opportunity to further enhance these industry leading companies and elevate our platform into the premier intelligence provider for global sports, esports and gaming professionals." American City Business Journals CEO and Sports Business Journal co-Founder WHITNEY SHAW was named Chair of the newly established Leaders Group BOD to which Thune will report (Advance).
