Overnight Ratings: NCAA Women's Title Game Up On ESPN

ESPN last night drew a 2.2 overnight rating for the NCAA women’s basketball championship game, which saw Baylor defeat Notre Dame. That is up from a 2.0 for Notre Dame’s win over Mississippi State in '18, and down from a 2.4 for South Carolina-Mississippi State two years ago.

A NEW TRADITION: NBC on Saturday from 12:00-3:00pm ET drew a 1.0 overnight rating for the final round of the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur, which saw Wake Forest’s Jennifer Kipcho take the win. That figure is the best rating for any amateur golf telecast -- men or women -- since NBC drew a 1.4 for the men’s U.S. Amateur in ’03. Last year’s men’s U.S. Amateur on Fox in mid-August drew a 0.4 for the finale on a Sunday. The final round on Saturday from Augusta peaked at a 1.1 rating from 2:45-3:00pm.
