Skipper To Appear On Bill Simmons Podcast As Part Of DAZN Deal

John Skipper and Bill Simmons are back in business together, as Skipper's DAZN bought a three-month sponsorship of Simmons' eponymous Ringer podcast and actually sat down for an interview that will post later this week. Simmons and Skipper spoke for around 90 minutes for the podcast, chatting about Skipper's decision not to renew Simmons' contract in '15. Advertisers pay between $25 and $50 for every 1,000 people who listen to each podcast. DAZN's sponsorship deal also could lead to having Simmons host DAZN talent on his podcast. DAZN is ramping up for an important three months that includes the launch of the Adnan Virk-hosted MLB whiparound show and three boxing cards.
