NFL Promotes Renie Anderson To Exec VP Position

NFL Senior VP/Partnerships, Sponsorship & Consumer Products RENIE ANDERSON will become the league's first chief revenue officer, as she has been promoted to Exec VP/NFL Partnerships. The role adds media sales to her oversight responsibilities, which have included both corporate sponsorship and consumer products licensing, the latter since last year. By combining leadership of its consumer businesses, the league is hoping to attract deals that cut across all three segments. “We want to be able to maximize everything the NFL offers, so now we’ll have the ability to customize partnerships across all of those area,’’ Anderson said. She will continue to report to NFL Chief Media & Business Officer BRIAN ROLAPP. Anderson, who became an SBJ "Forty Under 40" HOFer in '15, said, “Especially on the sell side of the (sports property) business, there’s not a lot of women, so I appreciated the opportunity to be a great example there.’’ Other new league promotions see NFL Media & Business COO HANS SCHROEDER becoming Exec VP & COO of NFL Media, and NFL Senior VP/Events PETER O'REILLY becoming Exec VP/Club Business & League Events.
