TB12 Center Coming To Boston, With More Expansion To Follow

TB12 is considering opening centers in N.Y., Miami, Chicago, L.A., S.F., London and Torontotb12

The TB12 Sports Performance & Recovery Center is "scheduled to open a flagship location" in Boston in August, and "several more locations could follow across the country," according to Jeremy Fox of the BOSTON GLOBE. The Boston location will "become the second center" Patriots QB Tom Brady will operate in Massachusetts, having opened the first location in '13 at Patriot Place in Foxboro. The company is "considering opening centers" in N.Y., Miami, Chicago, L.A. and S.F., as well as possibly "international sites such as London and Toronto." TB12 CEO John Burns said that the company has "seen ample interest in Brady's training methods," which have spawned a book and a documentary series, as well as a line of TB12 products that "doubled their online sales each year for the last few years." Burns said that he thinks there will be "public demand, even in areas where Pats fans are scarce." Burns said that he "expects the TB12 centers will appeal to all kinds of athletes." He also said that Brady himself will "sometimes use" the Boston location for his own workouts, as he does now with the Foxboro center (BOSTONGLOBE.com, 3/8).
