StubHub's Perkins Miller Leaving To Join Fan-Driven Media Group

StubHub GM/Americas PERKINS MILLER is leaving the company after nearly three years to become CEO of fan-driven entertainment media portal Fandom. Miller will continue to be based in S.F. and start the new position Monday. During his time at the eBay-owned StubHub, Miller helped lead an integration of the company into the NFL’s new open ticketing model, the implementation of the company’s primary ticketing deal with the 76ers, record Super Bowl sales last year and a five-year extension of its deal with MLB, among other efforts. After prior career stops at the NFL, WWE, Vocativ, NBC Universal and Time Inc., the move returns Miller to digital media. Fandom includes a network of pop culture sites and was formerly known as Wikia Inc. Miller said, “The chance to have my first real CEO job, continue to be based in San Francisco, and work with these assets and somebody like [Fandom Board Chair and former AOL, IAC and News Corp. exec ] JON MILLER, it was too hard to pass up.” StubHub CFO GREG MRVA will lead the company’s North American business on an interim basis and a search for a permanent replacement for Miller will begin soon. Additional operational responsibilities will also be held by a trio of GMs appointed early last year by Miller: SCOTT JABLONSKI, JILL KRIMMEL and JEFF POIRIER.
