Brady, Edelman Enjoy Post-Super Bowl Perks Like Disney Trip

Brady and Edelman made the trip after appearing in Disney's celebratory ad filmed right after the gameDISNEY PARKS

Patriots QB TOM BRADY and WR JULIAN EDELMAN were at Disney World for the annual Super Bowl championship parade, though it was unknown if they were "compensated" for their visit, according to Sean Smyth of the BOSTON GLOBE. Past participants have been paid for making the traditional visit (BOSTONGLOBE.com, 2/4). In Boston, Trevor Hass noted Brady and Edelman "faced off in a lighthearted lightsaber battle." Brady "flaunted his skills by starting with his right hand, switching to his left, scrambling outside the pocket, and nearly poking Edelman's eye out." The Super Bowl MVP then "retreated, gathered up momentum, and went for Brady's feet." Brady "nimbly avoided the sack" (BOSTON.com, 2/4). Edelman posed a video on his Instagram feed that showed the two "sitting side-by-side on the park's Toy Story ride." Edelman at one point asked, "Who's Buzz Lightyear and who's Woody?" (BOSTONMAGAZINE.com, 2/4).

THE MOST MAGICAL PLAY ON EARTH: Brady and Edelman made the trip after appearing in Disney's celebratory ad filmed immediately after the game. CBS' James Corden asked, “They do know they can still go to Disney World even if they lost? I’ve never won the Super Bowl. I’ve been to Disney World like six times. Was that the motivation that the Patriots needed at halftime? ‘Guys, remember, if we win this we get to ride the teacups.’” Corden said “everyone says” they are going to Disney World, but “I didn’t think anyone followed through.” Corden: "But (Edelman) kept running into trouble with those signs that say ‘You must be this tall to go on the ride’” (“The Late Show,” CBS, 2/4).
