In Michigan, Brandon Champion noted Patriots QB Tom Brady finished the '18 season with the "top-selling jersey of any NFL player" on NFLShop.com. Brady has been "at or near the top of sales figures for much of the last decade and a half." Bears LB Khalil Mack "finished second" in jersey sales. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott, Giants RB Saquon Barkley, Saints QB Drew Brees, Browns QB Baker Mayfield, Eagles QB Carson Wentz, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster "rounded out the top 10" (MLIVE.com, 1/3).

THAT'S NO BULL: PBR on Friday will announce a renewal with premier series title sponsor Monster Energy. Financial terms were not disclosed for the Monster extension, which will continue to include the rights to the PBR Unleash The Beast tour. The PBR also will announce renewals from Ford Trucks, Jack Daniel's, Wrangler and the City of Las Vegas, which will continue hosting the PBR World Finals through ’20 (Adam Stern, Staff Writer).

SOONER, SCHOONERS: Halifax’s proposed CFL team -- the Atlantic Schooners -- is "already selling swag." Schooners spokesperson Alyse Hand said that "merchandise including T-shirts, hoodies, socks and tuques with the club logo are now available from an online store," which was "launched just before Christmas 'as a way to get Schooners fans excited about a future team.'" She said that sales have been "steady since the launch, and some sizes have sold out" (CP, 1/1).
