The Padres promoted COO ERIK GREUPNER to President of Business Operations. He had previously served as COO since '16 and initially joined the club in '10 (Padres).

CHANGE OF PACE: F1 Dir of Communications NORMAN HOWELL "suddenly stepped down" after nearly two years. Howell was promoted into the role in February '17 after spending nearly two years as its head of digital. He reported directly to F1 Managing Dir of Commercial Operations SEAN BRATCHES. F1 said that the communications team "is being restructured." Instead of a director of communications, there will be a head of corporate and consumer communications and a head of motorsport press office. Both roles will report to F1 Dir of Marketing & Communications ELLIE NORMAN (PRWEEK.com, 1/2)

EXECS: The Bucks promoted Senior VP/Communications BARRY BAUM to Chief Communications Officer of both the team and Fiserv Forum (THE DAILY)....A source said that the Raiders "have dismissed" Dir of Player Personnel JOEY CLINKSCALES. A "quick decision on Clinkscales was anticipated, given his senior position and ties" to recently fired GM REGGIE MCKENZIE (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 1/3)....The Orioles named Indians Dir of Latin American Scouting KOBY PEREZ Senior Dir of Int'l Scouting. He will report to Exec VP & GM MIKE ELIAS (Orioles)....The Univ. of Missouri-K.C. named Learfield GM/Partnership Sales CURT JACEY Deputy AD/External Relations (UMKC)....The USOC BOD approved three new members during its most recent meeting; USA Wrestling Exec Dir RICH BENDER, former U.S. Navy Lieutenant BRAD SNYDER and Ernst & Young Global Vice Chair BETH BROOKE-MARCINIAK. They fill the seats of outgoing members JIM BENSON, NINA KEMPPEL and DAVE OGREAN (USOC)....The Sports & Fitness Industry Association re-elected former Life Fitness President CHRIS CLAWSON as Chair for a fourth one-year term. Riddell and BRG Sports President & CEO DAN ARMENT will serve as Vice Chair for a one-year term. New additions to the board include NHL Exec VP/Social Impact, Growth Initiatives & Legislative Affairs KIM DAVIS; Walmart Sports & Fitness GM ERIC O'TOOLE; Gildan VP/Global Lifestyle Brands MICHAEL SCHROEDER and Brooks Running Exec VP and GM/Global Sales DAN SHERIDAN (SFIA).
