Former MLB manager DUSTY BAKER's Baker Energy Team, a startup based outside Sacramento, is "developing, pitching and working on large projects for historically black universities, cannabis growing operations, tribal reservations and commercial businesses," as well as "solar power" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 12/12).

The bikes were a gift from a Dallas Academy Sports and Outdoors at "about $60 a bike" (STAR-TELEGRAM.com, 12/11)....Former NFLer CHRIS SNEE and his family on Monday delivered holiday gifts to pediatric patients at St. Josephs Regional Medical Center in N.Y. on behalf of The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund. The gift-giving is an “annual tradition over the last five years for the Snees” (NJ.com, 12/12).
