Michigan Once Again Has Highest Attendance In College Football

With an average of 110,737 per game during the '18 season, Michigan once again led college football in average home attendance. In November, the Penn State-Michigan matchup drew 111,747 fans to Michigan Stadium, the largest crowd of the football season. In Happy Valley, Penn State ranked second in average attendance for the ’18 season and set a Beaver Stadium record with 110,889 fans for Ohio State-Penn State, a contest of then-top-10 teams. In all, nine SEC teams ranked within the top 25, closely followed by the Big Ten with seven teams. Texas (+5.3%) saw the largest increase of fans per game of teams within the top 25, while Miami (+4.7%) and West Virginia (+4.0%) also witnessed significant increases this season.

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft
