Iger will collect the remaining money from the equity grant if Disney outperforms 65% of the S&P 500getty images

Disney announced "more-rigorous benchmarks" required for Chair & CEO BOB IGER to collect a $100M equity grant in '21 that had been "criticized by shareholder advisory groups." Iger has already been "granted a portion of the grant" valued at roughly $25M. Under the new arrangement, he will "collect the remaining amount tied to the equity grant only if his company’s total shareholder return outperforms 65% of companies in the S&P 500." The original agreement "granted the payment if Disney outperformed the 50th percentile" (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 12/4). 

THE GOOD STUFF: The Ravens donated "nearly $200,000 to Baltimore City Public Schools for upgrades to heating and air-conditioning units at Lakewood Elementary School in East Baltimore." As part of the NFL’s "revamped social-justice program, the Ravens have pledged to match player contributions up to $250,000 annually in efforts to support community improvement, social justice and law-enforcement relationships." Ravens President DICK CASS joined local officials to "announce the contribution" (BALTIMORE SUN, 12/4)....Brewers LF RYAN BRAUN andRF CHRISTIAN YELICH and free agent 3B MIKE MOUSTAKAS have "joined forces to begin the 'California Strong' campaign in support of those affected by the wildfires" in California last month. The foundation will also "benefit families who lost loved ones during the mass shooting at a bar in Thousand Oaks." The campaign has already "collected more than $300,000 in donations through its website, and an additional $35,000 or so have been raised for 10 items still up for auction" (ESPN.com, 12/3).

AT THE POLLS: The combination of Mets Chair & CEO FRED WILPON and MSG Chair & CEO JAMES DOLAN received "one write-in vote" for New York governor and lieutenant governor, respectively. Knicks C KRISTAPS PORZINGIS "received five nods, along with one vote that misspelled his name as 'Kristops.'" Other write-in votes included a ticket for Yankees RF AARON JUDGE/SS DIDI GREGORIUS and "one vote" for Mets P JACOB DEGROM. Giants QB ELI MANNING "received a vote" and COLIN KAEPERNICK also "got one vote." Other notables were Syracuse men's basketball coach JIM BOEHEIM and assistant coach GERRY MCNAMARA, former Louisville men's basketball coach RICK PITINO and Warriors F KEVIN DURANT (NYDAILYNEWS.com, 12/3). 

NAMES: Film director ANTHONY HEMINGWAY is “getting on the feature field with Amazon Studios and some of the greatest NFL players ever to tackle college football.” Packers QB AARON RODGERS and ESPN's DESMOND HOWARD are teaming with Hemingway to “develop ‘WORK HORSES,’” which will “look at the high-stakes and no-pay world of the gridiron battles played out at America’s top colleges.” The project will also “explore the ingrained system that profits off players who struggle to make ends meet off the field” (DEADLINE.com, 11/30)....KOBE BRYANT is teaming up with the Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, Calif. for a “joint-venture in holistic athletic training." The 2-year-old facility "will be re-named the MAMBA Sports Academy” (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 12/3)....Free agent LF MATT SZCZUR is “selling prints commemorating the final out” of the Cubs’ ’16 World Series win through his foundation. The original 3-by-4-foot painting “hangs in the Wrigley Field suite of the Ricketts family.” Szczur said that he was asked by Cubs Chair TOM RICKETTS to “produce the artwork" after his painting of Cubs 1B ANTHONY RIZZO and 3B KRIS BRYANT was auctioned for $35,000 at the team’s annual Bricks and Ivy Ball (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 12/3)....Univ. of Memphis men’s basketball assistant coach MIKE MILLER “has plans to open another restaurant” in the Germantown suburb of Memphis. "Let it Fly" is a sports bar and driving range combination, a "similar concept to Topgolf" (COMMERCIALAPPEAL.com, 12/3).
