Buyers & Sellers: Floyd Mayweather Jr. Buys Las Vegas Home For $10M

FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. purchased a compound in the Queensridge neighborhood of Las Vegas for $10M. The estate has a 16,357-square-foot mansion, two guesthouses, a pool house, a "small vineyard and an underground garage." The 1.4-acre property also features "two above-ground garages, a gym, a wine cellar, an outdoor pool and an indoor spa with a current that allows for stationary swimming" (REVIEWJOURNAL.com, 10/23).

MOVIN' ON: Longtime agent DAVID FALK sold his home in the Rockville area of Maryland for $1.1M (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 10/18)....NFL Panthers S ERIC REID sold his property in Hayward Hills outside of S.F. for $1.81M. Reid bought the home in '13 "about a week after he inked his rookie contract" with the 49ers for $1.25M. The estate "includes a Traditional-style house, a palm-topped pool and spa, a full-sized sports court and a koi pond" (LATIMES.com, 10/19)....A's manager BOB MELVIN sold his home in Berkeley for $3M. The Mediterranean-style five-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home is "nestled in the Berkeley Hills." It features a "wine cellar, a stair tower with 140-year-old iron railings, and a separate guest house, among many other amenities" (MERCURYNEWS.com, 10/24).

HARDWOOD FLOORS: Former NBAer KRIS HUMPHRIES purchased a home in Hollywood Hills in an "off-market deal" for $7.495M. The contemporary-style house "offers four bedrooms and four bathrooms in 4,542 square feet of living space." Panoramic views of the city and ocean are "on display from the inside and the backyard, which has an infinity-edge swimming pool and spa." Meanwhile, in Humphries' home state of Minnesota, he has a "lakefront house on the market" for $1.586M (LATIMES.com, 10/25)....Former NBAer LOU AMUNDSON has sold his home in Manhattan Beach, Calif., for $2.1M. The open floor plan of more than 2,500 square feet has a "minimalist vibe." Three bedrooms and three bathrooms "make up the inside of the house, which then expands to deck or patio space outdoors" (LATIMES.com, 10/22).

ON THE MARKET: Former F1 driver JENSON BUTTON has listed his home in the Brentwood neighborhood of L.A. for $6.85M. This comes after he bought the home last year for $6.1M. The Cape Cod-inspired house "offers 4,800 square feet of living space" and has "five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms." A flagstone patio outside "adjoins a turf lawn," while a "fire pit, a wet bar and a swimming pool with a spa fill out the backyard space." Button retired from F1 in '17 (LATIMES.com, 10/23)....Pro Football HOFer ROD WOODSON has "shaved the price" on his home in Pleasanton, Calif., to $2.275M. The six-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom property that was "previously listed" at $2.35M spans 4,592 square feet. The home was purchased in '04 for $1.6M (MERCURYNEWS.com, 10/23)....Lions coach MATT PATRICIA listed his home in Wrentham, Mass., for $699,900. The 3,674-square-foot, three-story house "features four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms." Between 50-75 people have "seen the home" so far. The former Patriots defensive coordinator bought the home in May '13 for $625,000 (BOSTONGLOBE.com, 10/23)....WNBA Washington Mystics F ELENA DELLA DONNE has "just listed" her home in Alexandria, Va., for an undisclosed price. The 3,904-square-foot, four-bedroom home "boasts floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, a large walk-in closet and a rain shower, among other amenities" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 10/18).
