NFL Net Readies Special "One-Off" Booth For Eagles-Jaguars In London

NFL Network's Rich Eisen, Steve Mariucci, Kurt Warner and Michael Irvin will "leave the studio as a one-off to call" the Oct. 28 Eagles-Jaguars game airing at 9:30am ET from Wembley Stadium in London, according to Richard Deitsch of THE ATHLETIC. The game is "airing nationally on NFL Network but will also be available on local broadcast stations in Philadelphia (WPVI-TV) and Jacksonville (WFOX)." It is the "first time Eisen will do play by play for an NFL regular season game." He previously "called a live game telecast of the Senior Bowl for NFL Network." It "also will be the first game analyst assignment for Mariucci." The net is "still figuring out where Mariucci, Irvin and Warner will be positioned for the broadcast." Melissa Stark and Peter Schrager will "work as sideline reporters" (THEATHLETIC.com, 10/15). 247SPORTS.com's Jeff Kerr noted the shakeup comes "because Joe Buck will be calling the World Series for Fox." Eagles-Jaguars coverage will begin at 7:00am "with NFL GameDay Kickoff, hosted by Kay Adams alongside Steve Smith Sr., Reggie Bush and Kyle Brandt, live from Wembley Stadium." Halftime and postgame coverage "will originate from NFL Films in Mt. Laurel, NJ."(247SPORTS.com, 10/14).
