IndyCar CMO C.J. O'DONNELL announced that he is stepping down from the role, effective this offseason. A replacement was not immediately named. O'Donnell, who joined IndyCar in '13, said he wanted to move back to the East Coast to be closer to his family (Adam Stern, THE DAILY).

EXECS: Sources said that Fox News President of Advertising Sales MARIANNE GAMBELLI will "take on a bigger role" when the pending sale of 21st Century Fox assets to Disney is complete, "overseeing ad sales for most of its assets, including sports channels and the Fox broadcast network." She will "pick up duties" now handled by Fox President of Advertising Revenue JOE MARCHESE (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 10/2)....The Heat Group promoted AmericanAirlines Arena Exec VP & GM KIM STONE to Exec VP/Business Development for the team's sales and service division and Exec VP/Heat Group Enterprises JARRED DIAMOND to AmericaAirlines Arena GM (Heat)....Intrust Bank Arena promoted Marketing & Group Sales Coordinator LYNDSEY EDWARDS to Marketing Manager (Intrust Bank Arena).
