Golden Knights Become First To Add Casino Equipment Endorser In AGS

The Golden Knights now have a "three-year marketing partnership" with Las Vegas-based AGS, marking the "first partnership" between a casino gaming equipment manufacturer and a major-league sports team, according to Richard Velotta of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL. The deal with AGS, which is a supplier of casino games, systems and technology, will "officially launch at the Global Gaming Expo trade show Oct. 9-11 in Las Vegas." But pieces of it "already were revealed" at the Golden Knights' preseason game against the Avalanche last night. AGS has its "brand tagline 'Obsessed with the Game' on a scoreboard" at T-Mobile Arena. The AGS "Play of the Game" will "show a defining highlight" of all Golden Knights home games. AGS CMO Julia Boguslawski said, "We hadn’t done a partnership with a sports organization before. We reached out to the Knights right before the playoffs last season on the possibility of partnering with them." Velotta notes AGS has developed a Golden Knights "animation for its roulette signage" and will sponsor the team’s Dec. 20 game against the Islanders (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 9/25).
