Buyers & Sellers: Ted Leonsis Sells Georgetown Condo For $2.65M

Capitals Owner TED LEONSIS has sold a Georgetown condo for $2.65M, "about $600,000 below the original list price." Leonsis originally bought the 2,500-square-foot, two-bedroom condo for $2.6M in '09. The "high-end unit is in the coveted Wormley Row, a converted 1885 school house" that is "just blocks away from Georgetown's retail hub." Leonsis' main residence is the "secluded and historic 13-acre Marwood estate" in Potomac, Md. (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 9/20).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Spurs coach GREGG POPOVICH has placed his home in San Antonio on the market for $4.5M. The 9,640-square-foot home has a "private gym festooned wall-to-wall with Spurs memorabilia." But for some, the wine cellar "seals the deal" (MYSANANTONIO.com, 9/19)....Former NFLer COREY DILLON has sold his home in Calabasas, Calif., for $1.925M. The property has "five bedrooms and six bathrooms across 5,024 square feet." A "two-story foyer with a wrought-iron staircase kicks off the interior." The backyard is a "bit more amenity-minded." There is a "yard with a playground, a swimming pool with a waterfall, a tiki bar, a putting green and a half of a sports court" (LATIMES.com, 9/20).
