New Deal Makes EBay Listings More Noticeable On ESPN.com

ESPN has struck a digital partnership with eBay in which listings from the online auction site will be more discoverable within ESPN.com on desktop and mobile. ESPN.com users will have contextual access to eBay listings for sports equipment, fashion apparel, memorabilia and collectibles. Financial terms were not disclosed. The two companies earlier this summer also resumed an annual collaboration around the ESPY Awards to develop charitable sports-oriented auctions to benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research. “Whether it’s immediately following the big game, or when a sports legend is in the headlines, we’ll help fans immediately shop in the moment,” said eBay Americas CMO Suzy Deering.
