Aramark To Debut "Beer Bikes" At 10 NFL Venues This Season

Aramark will deploy the "BeerCycles" as F&B work for the Eagles, Vikings, Browns and othersaramark

Concessionaire Aramark is bringing new "beer bikes" to 10 NFL stadiums this season. The bikes are outfitted with and will sell draft beers and are being branded as "Tour de Taps." The mobile vending concept is part of a new food and beverage slate for the '18 season, according to Aramark Sports & Entertainment Division President Carl Mittleman. Aramark will deploy the "BeerCycles" as part of its F&B work for the Eagles, Texans, Buccaneers, Steelers, Vikings, Bears, Chiefs, Browns, Bengals and Ravens. “We believe this is the first time BeerCycles have been deployed inside a sports venue. The introduction of the BeerCycles is keeping in line with our effort to create more portable stations that can go where the fans are,” said Aramark Senior Dir of Corporate Communications David Freireich. The bikes also can be used to alleviate long lines at other concession stands. Freireich said Aramark last year introduced a Tuk-Tuk (a motorized rickshaw) that sold edible Jane Dough Cookie Dough at stadiums. “At the end of the day, it’s about finding new and innovative ways to not only reach fans, but deliver an enjoyable service experience,” he said. Eight of the bikes will serve A-B products, while two will serve MillerCoors beers.
