Intel Consolidates Future Olympic-Related Work With GMR

After splitting its Olympic agency work between CAA Sports and GMR Marketing in its first year as a global IOC sponsor, Intel has given the entire business to GMR for future Games. GMR Marketing will now handle all rights management and approvals, athlete logistics and engagement, strategy consulting and activation/showcases. CAA had advised on the original deal Intel and the IOC signed in '17 and also advised on its first Games. GMR previously handled only activation and showcases. GMR is currently advertising for three jobs to handle the increased Intel workload out of its S.F. offices. Intel and the agencies declined to comment. Intel’s Olympic rights touch on several different technologies and run through the ’24 Paris Games.
