Ticketing outfit AXS named IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions President ROB SINE Chief Revenue Officer, a "newly created role signifying the company's continued growth." Sine will "focus on client acquisition and retention and new business development." He begins in his new role tomorrow and will report to AXS CEO BRYAN PEREZ. Sine will relocate from Plano, Texas, to L.A. (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 6/25 issue).

GOING TO INFRARED: Longtime sports tech exec BRIAN KOPP has been named non-Exec Dir of Kymira Sport, a U.K-based infrared performance and recovery sportswear brand. Kymira produces a series of athletic garments aimed at improving circulation and recovery, and it is part of a fast-growing realm of smart textiles in sports. Kopp will also remain aligned with Colorado-based football training simulator company Sports VTS and several other tech companies through his Stretch 4 Advisory practice in Chicago (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

EXECS: Michigan State Exec Associate AD & Senior Woman Administrator SHELLEY APPELBAUM "will resign from her position effective July 1." Appelbaum, who joined MSU in '99, "notified the university last week" (LANSINGSTATEJOURNAL.com, 6/22)....San Diego State named Cal State-Northridge Associate AD/Compliance TIM LANSKI to the same position (SDSU)....Arkansas State named Auburn Assistant Dir of Marketing SARAH MUNOZ Associate AD/Marketing & Fan Engagement (Arkansas State)....The NCAA has launched a national search to identify candidates for its position of Exec VP/Regulatory Affairs. SEC Commissioner GREG SANKEY will serve as External Chair of the search committee, with NCAA Exec VP/Inclusion & HR KATRICE ALBERT serving as the Internal Chair. Chicago-based Heidrick & Struggles will assist with the search. The goal is to have a candidate selected by Sept. 1 (NCAA). The position being filled was held by OLIVER LUCK, who left to run the XFL (THE DAILY).
