Jacksonville Sports Council CEO ALAN VERLANDER "resigned to start his own sports and entertainment marketing company" named Airstream Ventures. Verlander had been with JSC since December '13 and will leave his position June 30. He was "being groomed as the heir apparent" to JSC President & CEO RICK CATLETT. Catlett said that it is "likely JSC will partner with Verlander's company on some sporting events outside of the Taxslayer Gator Bowl" (JACKSONVILLE.com, 6/14).

EXECS: Following Time Warner being sold to AT&T, Time Warner CEO JEFF BEWKES will remain with the company as a Senior Advisor "for an unspecified length of time during a 'transition period.'" All of his direct reports will now report to AT&T Entertainment Group Senior Exec VP/AT&T/Time Warner Merger Integration Planning JOHN STANKEY (HOLLYWOODREPORTER.com, 6/14)....ACC Associate Commissioner/Football Communications MIKE FINN is retiring after 18 years with the conference (THE DAILY)....The British Columbia Hockey League named Starting Five Media Consulting President CHRIS HEBB Commissioner. He succeeds JOHN GRISDALE (THEPROVINCE.com, 6/15).
