Sports Business Awards: Endeavor Tops Event & Experiential Marketing

Endeavor Global Marketing, which was launched last year by the entertainment conglomerate formed through WME's acquisition of IMG now known as Endeavor, won the award for Best in Sports Event and Experiential Marketing at the '18 Sports Business Awards. It is the first award for the the cultural marketing division, which was formed by a group of more than 500 marketers and strategists within the organization. IMG Live President Bryan Icenhower accepted the award on behalf of the whole organization, and credited employees for the win by saying that they "work each and every day tirelessly in the pursuit of perfection." Icenhower also said the level of trust that the agency's clients have put in them fueled the win as well, brands that range from A-B InBev, GE, Microsoft and Visa. In the last year particularly, Endeavor Global Marketing's work on the 12-city Wendy's College Tailgate Tour, which it developed, managed and executed and featured five other sponsor partners in one footprint, and its work on behalf of client Under Armour to put together an event to celebrate its new partnership with UCLA by transforming the Venice Beach basketball courts into a one-day festival stood out as two of its most memorable projects in '17.
