NASCAR Truck Series Switching Title Sponsor To Gander Outdoors

The original length of the sponsorship deal will remain, running through '22GETTY IMAGES

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be re-branded next year to the Gander Outdoors Truck Series, as entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis has decided to change the brand he is primarily leveraging. The original length of the pact through ’22 remains intact. The entitlement is worth about $5M annually. As part of the move, fellow Lemonis brands Overton’s and The House Outdoor Gear will also become official NASCAR partners, with assets including the right to activate series IP and marks across all retail locations nationwide. Gander Outdoors was formerly known as Gander Mountain before it was bought and rebranded by Lemonis last year. Lemonis made the announcement this morning to Camping World shareholders during its quarterly earnings call. Lemonis also has hinted that he has a new deal coming using the Gander brand with a yet-to-be-identified team in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
