Under Armour Launches Stephen Curry-Inspired Trivia App

Prizes for the game include the Curry 5 signature shoe, playoff tickets and Under Armour gearUNDER ARMOUR

Under Armour has developed an "elimination style trivia app" that will begin when Warriors G Stephen Curry hits his first three-pointer of any NBA postseason game, according to Katie Richards of ADWEEK. The game, called "Steph IQ" and developed with Red Interactive, will "dole out prizes to those who can answer all eight multiple choice questions correctly in the allotted ten seconds per question." Winners "will have a chance to split the prize pool (which has yet to be announced), and a few lucky winners will be entered into a special raffle." Prizes "include the Curry 5 signature shoe, playoff tickets, Under Armour gear and more." To spread the word about the game, UA "came up with a strategic plan to promote the app through Curry’s social channels as well as through the NBA, the Warriors and Foot Locker." To better connect with the "desired audience" of males between 13-18 years old, Under Armour picked social influencer BDot "to host each game" (ADWEEK.com, 5/2).
