Adidas announced partnerships with several top prospects in this year's NFL Draft, including Bradley Chubb, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Derwin James, Courtland Sutton, Christian Kirk, Kerryon Johnson, Bo Scarbrough and Sony Michel (Adidas). 247SPORTS.com's Jake Rowe noted Michel is the "second member of Georgia's backfield to sign an endorsement deal" after RB Nick Chubb "inked a deal with Nike early last month" (247SPORTS.com, 4/23).

DYNAMIC DUO: Mavericks G Dennis Smith Jr. appears in Under Armour's latest ad alongside Dwayne Johnson, with the spot featuring Johnson "narrating the stories of different athletes overcoming past obstacles to get where they are today" (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 4/21).

UNDER ONE ROOF: Northeastern Univ. signed a "multi-year, exclusive partnership with Under Armour" that will begin fall '18. The partnership means UA will "provide gear and apparel to the 18 varsity sports at Northeastern, potentially including all club, recreational and intramural sports teams." Northeastern AD Jeff Konya said that prior to the new partnership, each varsity sport had its "own partnership set up, providing little unity as an athletic department" (HUNTNEWSNU.com, 4/23).
