RFR Locks Up Main Sponsors Of Stenhouse's No. 17 Through '21

Three major sponsors of Roush Fenway Racing's No. 17 Ford driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. have extended through ’21. The move, which solidifies the majority of inventory on Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series car for the next three seasons after this year, involves extensions with Fastenal, Fifth Third Bank and SunnyD owner Harvest Hill brands. Fastenal, a B2B-focused distributor of industrial and construction products, will remain as the anchor sponsor of the No. 17, and it will take an increased although undisclosed number of races under the extension. RFR President Steve Newmark said that the companies chose to extend with RFR early in order to solidify their future to allow for more long-term and big-picture planning and marketing. Fastenal President & CEO Dan Florness, whose company has been with RFR since ’10, said the company extended early because the deal is bringing the company exposure to B2B decision makers and serving as an internal sales tool. Fifth Third Bank is B2B-focused, while Harvest Hill is consumer focused and has leveraged several brands with the team on top of SunnyD including Juicy Juice, Little Hug and Bit-O-Honey.
