Race Team Alliance Hires RSR Partners To Help Fill New Position

The Race Team Alliance has hired RSR Partners to help identify candidates for its new Exec Dir position. RTA Chair ROB KAUFFMAN this week would only confirm that the RTA has engaged a search firm, but the search firm later confirmed to THE DAILY on Friday that company principal DANY BERGHOFF is working with the coalition of NASCAR teams on the search. Sources added that there have been a mixture of people from inside and outside of NASCAR who have interviewed for the position, which Kauffman says the RTA hopes to fill in the near future. The RTA currently only has two full-time employees, and the new Exec Dir is going to be important because he or she will become the face of the organization and take the lead on major initiatives. RSR Partners has been engaged in the motorsports space before, working on projects like helping ISC find a new president of Daytona Int'l Speedway as then-President JOIE CHITWOOD moved to the ISC COO role in ’16.
