Fila has brought back Bjӧrn Borg as a "brand ambassador" more than "40 years after the original relationship was created," according to Jean Palmieri of WOMEN'S WEAR DAILY. The partnership between Fila and the Int'l Tennis HOFer dates to '75 when he "wore the brand on the court during his impressive career." The company even "created a White Line collection that was worn and inspired by Borg and designed by Fila’s Pierluigi Rolando." Fila said that reuniting with Borg "represents its commitment to the sport style space and many of the player’s signature looks, from the pinstripe polo shirt to the Settanta jacket are still in demand today" (WWD.com, 3/19).
