Buyers & Sellers: Kevin Plank Selling DC Home For $29.5M

Under Armour Founder, Chair & CEO KEVIN PLANK is selling his home in the Georgetown neighborhood of DC for $29.5M, the "most expensive residential property currently on the market" in the area. Built in 1815, the historic brick Federal-style home spans 12,200 square feet, holds "seven bedrooms, and includes a gym, heated pool, gated parking, marble staircase and entertainment room with a bar" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/22). The home's bedrooms were "designed in honor of American politicians, including GEORGE WASHINGTON" (BALTIMORESUN.com, 2/22).

ACROSS THE DIAMOND: Former MLBer JEFF NELSON has "cut his price" for his mansion in the gated community of Admirals Cove in Jupiter, Fla., and "now is asking" $14M. The 11,000-square-foot home is part of a 1.1-acre estate "along the Intracoastal Waterway" (PALMBEACHPOST.com, 2/23)....A's 3B coach MATT WILLIAMS is selling his property in Paradise Valley, Ariz., for $9.5M. The gated estate "spans more than two acres" and "centers on a Tuscan-inspired mansion of about 14,600 square feet." The home "opens to a chandelier-topped rotunda" while "marble and stonework fill the living spaces, which include two dining rooms, two living rooms, a billiards room, wine cellar and theater." Including a 600-square-foot guesthouse, there are "eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms" in the home (LATIMES.com, 2/27).

GRIDIRON HOMES: Former NFLer NNAMDI ASOMUGHA listed his Manhattan Beach home in January for $5.495M, and now a "sale is pending." The three-story home "offers ocean views from every level." A floating staircase "anchors the front entry, which gives way to open-plan space with floor-to-ceiling windows." Included within 3,350 square feet of living space are "three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and an office" (LATIMES.com, 2/26)....Former NFLer JAMES FARRIOR bought a newly built estate in the Tarzana neighborhood of L.A. for $4.225M. Included within the 7,000 square feet of space is a "living room, a family room, a center-island kitchen, a breakfast nook, a theater room and a wine cellar." In all, the home "holds six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 2/23).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Clippers C DEANDRE JORDAN has listed his home in Malibu for $6.5M. The two-story contemporary home has "living and dining rooms, a movie theater, five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms" inside 4,600 square feet of interior space. A wet bar "finished in reclaimed wood siding sits off the kitchen, which has been upgraded with sleek custom cabinetry and a broad island." A private balcony also sits "off the second-floor master suite" (LATIMES.com, 2/22)....Golfer JEFF SLUMAN listed his condo on the 21st floor of a River North tower in downtown Chicago for $1.6M. The "two-bedroom, 2,500-square-foot" unit also has 2.5 baths (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 2/22).
