MLB agent NATE HEISLER has left Beverly Hills Sports Council to join Rep 1 Sports and is expected to bring several clients with him, including Mariners CF DEE GORDON, A's P LIAM HENDRIKS and Braves P CHASE WHITLEY. Heisler will join Irvine-based Rep 1 as VP/North America. BHSC partner and co-CEO RICK THURMAN did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Rep 1 was founded by cousins and NFL agents BRUCE and RYAN TOLLNER. The firm represents more than 50 NFLers, including Steelers QB BEN ROETHLISBERGER, Eagles QB CARSON WENTZ and Rams QB JARED GOFF. Rep 1 expanded into the business of representing baseball players in January '16 (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

NAMES: Saints and Pelicans Owner TOM BENSON was being "treated for flu-like symptoms" at Ochsner Medical Center outside New Orleans. Benson is said to be "resting comfortably" and is being "treated in the intensive care unit" (NOLA.com, 2/21)....The National Soccer HOF announced that rock band IMAGINE DRAGONS will headline the '18 HOF weekend with a "performance presented by Budweiser" on Oct. 20 (DALLASNEWS.com, 2/21)....Sources said that Penguins co-Owner RON BURKLE, who is part of a bid to buy the Weinstein Co., offered to "substantially increase the size of the victims' fund" for those affected by HARVEY WEINSTEIN (HOLLYWOODREPORTER.com, 2/21).
