In New Orleans, Herbie Teope reports Saints RB Alvin Kamara's "affinity for Airheads candy is a public love affair," and now Airheads has "reciprocated the open love with a billboard in New Orleans congratulating Kamara on winning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award." The billboard is located near I-10 and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. While Kamara and Airheads "agreed to a partnership in December, the financial details have not been disclosed" (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 2/7).

GOING EXCLUSIVE: Cox Communications' ad sales arm "signed a multi-year exclusive deal to represent AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain's local on-air advertising opportunities" during Golden Knights games. Cox Media will be the "exclusive sales rep" beginning with the Golden Knights' second NHL season. The deal covers "pre-game, post-game [and] in-game on-air advertising opportunities" (CABLEFAX.com, 2/7).

POSITIVE SIGN FOR INDYCAR: Yesterday's announcement that PNC Bank would serve as the sponsor for Scott Dixon's No. 9 Honda in the '18 Verizon IndyCar Series season "was great" for him, IndyCar and Chip Ganassi Racing. In just the past few days, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Team Penske and other teams "across the paddock have announced major sponsorship deals." Dixon said that this is the "healthiest he's seen the series in a long time" (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 2/7).
