In New Jersey, Pete Caldera notes Yankees OF Aaron Judge yesterday was "honored with Card No. 1" in the new Topps Series 1 collection. Judge was selected "via fan vote." The collection will be available beginning tomorrow (Bergen RECORD, 1/30).

AUSSIE RULES: In Australia, John Stensholt noted the Australian Open over the weekend announced a sponsorship deal with Kia worth at least US$68.8M over five years. It is more than the annual US$13M the Australian Football League receives from its major partner, Toyota -- the previous biggest sponsorship in Australia on a yearly basis (AFR.com, 1/28).

THINK OUTSIDE THE BUN: Golfer Wesley Bryan will be "playing Taco Bell-logoed Callaway Truvis balls" this week at the PGA Tour Waste Management Phoenix Open. Bryan "loves Taco Bell" and last April "celebrated at Taco Bell" following his first PGA Tour win at the RBC Heritage. Bryan in June "signed an endorsement deal with Taco Bell and began wearing a Taco Bell belt" (GOLFCHANNEL.com, 1/29).
