IndyCar named Furniture Row Racing Dir of Sales & Marketing NEALE HOOD Senior Dir of Partnerships, effective yesterday. Hood left the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series outfit this offseason because it moved down to a one-car team that is now sold out of inventory for the next several years, leaving the team with nothing to sell. Hood joins a small but growing sales team for IndyCar that has several big categories to fill and the series entitlement to sell starting in ’19 when Verizon exits as title sponsor (Adam Stern, Staff Writer).

EXECS: Team Penske named ROBBY BENTON NASCAR Team Manager (Team Penske)....The Bucks promoted JAMIE MORNINGSTAR from VP/Ticket Sales & Services to Senior VP/Ticket Sales & Services and JORDAN LOPEZ from Dir of Retention to VP/Retention & Premium Hospitality. The team also named Red Wings Dir of Sales PAUL BEE VP/Ticket Sales (Bucks)....Sporting KC promoted MARTY NEVSHEMAL from VP/Finance to CFO (BIZJOURNALS.com, 1/8)....StubHub named 76ers VP/Strategy AKSHAY KHANNA Head of Partnerships for the NFL, NBA and NHL (Ben Fischer, Staff Writer). Nebraska-based athlete marketing platform Opendorse named Ascendent Sports Group Senior Dir of Global Partnerships TJ CIRO VP/Business Development. He will be based out of Opendorse's N.Y. office (THE DAILY).
