Topps yesterday combined its North American and Int'l Sports & Entertainment divisions into one Global division. With the move, Topps promoted VP & GM of North American Sports & Entertainment DAVID LEINER to Global GM. Meanwhile, Topps Europe VP & Group Managing Dir CHRIS RODMAN, who led the division for more than 20 years, will stay with the company as a consultant (Topps). 

OUTSIDE THE LINES: NFL Media Group VP & Exec Editor DAVID EATON has resigned "a little more than a week" after NFL Network "came under fire for tolerating a hostile work environment for female employees." Last week, Eaton got "swept up in the controversy after news media reports surfaced about his history of engaging in sexually explicit conversations on Twitter." Eaton was in charge of "news operations at both the television channel and NFL.com" (N.Y. TIMES, 12/21).

EXECS: The Mets have reached a contract extension with GM SANDY ALDERSON. The team "did not reveal the length or financial terms" (NEWSDAY, 12/21)....AEG Facilities named FedExForum VP & GM ERIC GRANGER Yum! Center GM. Granger has also served as GM of Nationwide Arena (BIZJOURNALS.com, 12/20)....The Forum Managing Partner SHELLI AZOFF is "leaving her position" for a "new role" within Azoff MSG Entertainment, which is run by her husband, IRVING (VARIETY.com, 12/20)....The Univ. of Georgia named UMass Deputy AD DARRICE GRIFFIN to the same position (AUGUSTA CHRONICLE, 12/21)....The UConn Husky Athletic Fund named KALEIGH ANDERSON Administrative Assistant for Athletic Development and JEFF PROUGH Associate Dir of Major Gifts (UConn).
