Happy Holidays: IMG College Licensing Launches Social Media Campaign

IMG College Licensing has launched a social media holiday campaign called “Spread Cheer with College Gear,” which promotes the sale of school merchandise through a series of videos. The primary video opens with a school-branded album by the hearth with a snow globe that highlights specific items. In all, 48 schools are featured with 227 unique team merchandise and apparel items. Illinois took the campaign a step further by featuring former Illini LB Dick Butkus in a holiday spot. These videos are being featured on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. In addition, IMG College Licensing, in partnership with Fanatics, created a curated retail experience and microsite for 23 schools (see: Shop Seminoles) where fans can view the campaign and shop. IMG College Licensing’s Nicole Armentrout, Erica McCarthy and Daniel Fogel took the lead on campaign strategy, while Endeavor handled the creative with the Tiny Dino Agency.
