The NFL Alumni Association named interim CEO ELVIS GOODEN to the full-time position, effective immediately. In addition, the NFLAA named N.Y.-New Jersey Chapter President BART OATES President (NFLA).

OH, CANADA: The CFL BC Lions named former Edmonton Eskimos President & CEO RICH LELACHEUR President. He will "start his new job in January." The role has been vacant since Lions President & CEO DENNIS SKULSKY "stepped aside" in April '16 (CP, 12/18)....CFL Montreal Alouettes Assistant GM/Football Operations CATHERINE RAICHE suddenly resigned from her position for "personal growth" (MONTREALGAZETTE.com, 12/18).

MOVING ON: George Washington Univ. AD PATRICK NERO is "resigning after nearly seven years and will leave the job on Dec. 31." The school yesterday said that Deputy AD TANYA VOGEL will "take over as acting AD and will start the search for someone to replace Nero permanently" (AP, 12/18). Nero will "remain available during the spring semester to assist with a smooth transition" (WASHINGTON POST, 12/19).

EXECS: The Buccaneers promoted the following: DENO ANAGNOST to VP/Ticket Sales, CHRIS COOK to VP/Guest & Member Relations and AMY TAYLOR to VP/Group Sales (THE DAILY)....CAA Sports promoted BETH ENSTROM to CAA Golf Exec and TEE STUMB to Talent Sales Agent. Enstrom will based in the Jacksonville office while Stumb will be based in N.Y. (HOLLYWOODREPORTER.com, 12/18)....Ares Management Chair, co-Founder & CEO TONY RESSLER said that he will "assume the role" of Exec Chair. Ressler also owns the Hawks (NYTIMES.com, 12/18).
