MSG is promoting Exec VP/Corporate Development ANDREW LUSTGARTEN to President, effective immediately. MSG President & CEO DOC O'CONNOR stepped down last month. Lustgarten joined MSG in '14 and will continue to report to Exec Chair & CEO JAMES DOLAN. Prior to MSG, he spent seven years at the NBA. Lustgarten also has had stints with Cablevision and Bear Stearns. He was an SBJ/SBD "Forty Under 40" honoree in '14 while serving as NBA Senior VP/Business & Strategic Development (THE DAILY).

STORM FRONT: The WNBA Seattle Storm promoted the following: NATE SILVERMAN to Senior VP/Corporate Partnerships & Social Responsibility; KRIS KOLEHMAIN to Senior Dir of Business Intelligence; KIMBERLY VEALE to Dir of Communications & Player Relations; KENNY DOW to Dir of Marketing; TALISA RHEA to Dir of Basketball Operations; ALYCIA CHABOT to Senior Manager of Marketing & Merchandise; JARON IWAKAMI to Senior Manager of Ticket Sales; CHRISTINE COOK to Manager of Partnerships Services; AMANDA CHINN to Senior Coordinator of Finance & HR; and SETH DAHLE to Senior Coordinator of Digital Communications. Additionally, the team named TIM GUIDRY Ticket Sales & Service Account Exec and DANIELLE MATTHEWS and ERIKA MOULDER Group Sales Account Execs (THE DAILY).

EXECS: The White Sox named former players A.J. PIERZYNSKI, JOSE CONTRERAS and TIM RAINES team ambassadors. In addition to representing the team in the community, they will be "looked upon to be mentors to current players" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 12/16)....Oak View Group announced that facilities industry publication Venues Today will relaunch in Q1, rebranded as VenuesNow. Its Founder & Editor-In-Chief LINDA DECKARD will remain with the publication. Additionally, the publication named SBJ facilities reporter DON MURET Senior Facilities Editor and SBJ Assistant Managing Editor ROB KNAPP Managing Editor. The restructuring will lead to staff reductions, but Senior Writer BRAD WEISSBERG will continue with the new publication (OVG).
