Oklahoma State Using Trial To Mull Whether Or Not To Sell Alcohol At Football Games

Oklahoma State will not make a decision on selling alcohol at Boone Pickens Stadium until the school "concludes a trial program selling alcohol at baseball and softball games this spring," according to Mark Cooper of the TULSA WORLD. OSU Deputy AD Chad Weiberg "stressed decisions are being made cautiously." This spring marks the "beginning of what could be a monumental change to the fan experience" at OSU sporting events. Alcohol sales for football or any other sport will be "determined by an evaluation" of the baseball/softball program. Cooper wrote selling alcohol at sporting events has "been a discussion at OSU for a while" (TULSA WORLD, 12/14).
