Executive Transactions

Switzerland-based data outfit Sportradar has made a set of executive changes as it realigns parts of its business. STEVE BYRD has shifted from Chief Commercial Officer to Head of Global Partnerships, allowing him to step away from day-to-day sales efforts and focus on worldwide business opportunities. JASON SUKHRAJ has been named Senior VP/Sales & Business Development, overseeing the company’s U.S. digital business. Sukhraj previously was with Perform Media, and will be based in N.Y. JAMES HENEGHAN, with Sportradar since November, will also shift to a new role as Head of Digital Sales for the rest of the world. Byrd will report to CEO CARSTEN KOERL. Sukhraj and Heneghan will report to Managing Dir of Sales EDUARD BLONK (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer). 

EXECS: Tennis Channel named Disson Sports & Entertainment CEO STEVE DISSON Head of New Business Development & Sponsorships. He will be based both in DC and N.Y. for the newly created position and will report to Senior VP & Head of Ad Sales ALLISON BODENMANN (Terry Lefton, Editor-at-Large)....Univision President of Ad Sales & Marketing KEITH TURNER has "announced plans to retire at the end of the year." No successor was "named for Turner" (BROADCASTINGCABLE.com, 7/10)....The PlayStation Fiesta Bowl named former USA Swimming Dir of Communications & PR SCOTT LEIGHTMAN Senior Dir of Communications and JACKIE HOBSON Communication Coordinator. Hobson was previously an NCAA PR intern, while Leightman spent time in the Suns and Bobcats organizations (Fiesta Bowl)....The NLL Colorado Mammoth promoted Dir of Player Personnel DAN CAREY to GM. He replaces STEVE GOVETT, who was also the team's president and left the organization last month (Mammoth).
