Industry veteran BILL NIELSEN has been named VP/Partner Solutions at PCG SportsDesk, a Chicago-based sponsorship sales and marketing consulting firm. Nielsen spent the previous 22 months as Senior VP/Sales of Raptor Sports Properties’ Fan Manager database management platform. Prior to that, he had been at Nielsen Scarborough since '99, most recently as VP/Sports Sales (David Broughton, Research Dir).

: The Oilers promoted Pro Scout & Advisor SCOTT HOWSON to VP/Player Development, the position "previously held by KELLY BUCHBERGER," who left the club in June to join the Islanders coaching staff.
