Buyers & Sellers: Clippers' Doc Rivers Purchases Home In Malibu For $9.525M

Clippers President of Basketball Operations and coach DOC RIVERS is "buying a home in Malibu" for $9.525M. The house is in a "guard-gated enclave, and sits along the oceanfront." Built in '78, the two-story house "features high ceilings, two fireplaces and surf-facing decks extending from each floor." Some 3,400 square feet of living space "includes an open-plan kitchen, living and dining rooms, four bedrooms and five bedrooms." The master suite is a "separate sitting area and glass doors that open to a wraparound deck" (LATIMES.com, 6/15).

FISH AIN'T BITING: Georgetown men's basketball coach PATRICK EWING is "still trying to unload" his Creeskill, N.J., mansion after two years on the market and has cut the price by another $500,000 to $5.5M. The brick home on nearly two acres features an "enormous kitchen with butler's pantry, a master bedroom suite with fireplace and a luxurious bathroom." The home also features a gym "leading to the half basketball court, plus a pool, spa, and a two-level patio"  (NJ.com, 6/10)....Former tennis player ANDY RODDICK and his wife, BROOKLYN DECKER, are "struggling to sell" their home in Cashiers, N.C. The "four-bedroom, five-bathroom property" has been reduced to $2.65M (WWD.com, 6/9).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Hawks F KRIS HUMPHRIES has sold his Beverly Hills home for $8.25M after purchasing it two years ago for $6.2M. The 3,300-square-foot home has "glass walls and skylights." It has "three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in all." Through glass doors "sit a covered terrace with a barbecue, wet bar, swimming pool and spa" (LATIMES.com, 6/13)....F1 driver JENSON BUTTON has bought a home in the Brentwood neighborhood in L.A. for $6.1M. Set behind "gates and hedges, the Cape Cod-style two-story was reimagined for indoor-outdoor living." Within nearly 4,800 square feet of interior space is a "living room with a fireplace, a center-island kitchen, a dining room, five bedrooms and six bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 6/13)....Dolphins G JERMON BUSHROD purchased a home in Davie, Fla., for $1.785M. The 8,003-square-foot home sits on a 40,000-square-foot lot. Built in '05, the home has "six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a pool" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 6/9)....Dolphins LB KIKO ALONSO purchased a home in Ft. Lauderdale for $1.44M. The 3,432-square-foot home last traded for $710,000 in '15, although it was "renovated since then." Built in '53, the home features "four bedrooms and five bathrooms" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 6/13)...Former NHLer KYLE CALDER listed his home in Lake View, Ill., for $1.495M. The five-bedroom brick home has "3 1/2 baths, three fireplaces, custom millwork and cabinetry" and a "kitchen with granite countertops" (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 6/8).
