In St. Paul, Jace Frederick noted T'Wolves C Karl-Anthony Towns has "linked up with the popular candy bar, Kit-Kat." The two "combined for a fairly clever social media thread" yesterday to "celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Big KAT candy bar." Towns is "often referred to as 'KAT'" (TWINCITIES.com, 5/3).

IT'S BO TIME: Golfer Chesson Hadley yesterday participated in a "two-hour stint" at a Bojangles' in Wilmington, N.C., ahead of this week's PGA Tour Wells Fargo Championship. Hadley, who is from Raleigh, "did a little bit of everything: making biscuits, taking orders, manning the drive thru." Hadley has the "southern eatery on his sponsorship team, but this was his first trip into a restaurant for more than eating." He said, "They came to me, and I thought it was a great idea" (Wilmington STAR NEWS, 5/3).

: ESPN.com's Darren Rovell noted the Patriots "filed to trademark 'Unequivocally The Sweetest' on April 17." The team "wrote in its filing that the intended use of the phrase is for 'pre-recorded DVDs featuring sports.'" Patriots Owner Robert Kraft "first used the phrase after he was presented with the Lombardi trophy" (ESPN.com, 5/3).
