Buyers & Sellers: Rockets' Leslie Alexander Selling Beachfront Home For $16.4M

Rockets Owner LESLIE ALEXANDER has put a beachfront home in La Jolla, Calif., "on the market" for $16.4M. The house "has collapsible walls of glass, an elevator and 9,320 square feet of living space on three floors." Seaside decking "overlooks 50 feet of ocean frontage," and a private gate "leads down to the shore below." Among the living spaces are "two kitchens, a game room, a separate laundry with a pet shower and expansive formal areas" (LATIMES.com, 4/26).

DISHING OUT DIMES: Warriors G STEPHEN CURRY and his wife AYESHA, who have been "trying to sell" their Walnut Creek, Calif., mansion, have "agreed to lower the price" to $3.6M. The couple bought the 7,250-square-foot "Santa Barbara-style Mediterranean villa" in '15. They paid $3.2M and put $400,000 "into renovating it." The house was in "somewhat of an exposed location" and the couple "had concerns about fans invading their privacy" (MERCURYNEWS.com, 4/26)....Former NBAer STEVE NASH sold his Paradise Valley, Ariz., home last week for $3.175M "after spending time on and off the market." The entire five-bedroom estate is 6,584 square feet and "includes a separate guest house, pool, four-car garage and a wine cellar" (USATODAY.com, 4/24).

BUYERS & SELLERS: MLB agent SCOTT BORAS paid $3.18M, or about $1,020 per square foot, for a "newly built home" in Venice. The two-story home "sits on a narrow lot" of about 5,500 square feet "with a saltwater lap pool and spa." A dining area, four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms "are within" more than 3,100 square feet of living space (LATIMES.com, 4/26)....USC AD LYNN SWANN "has bought a contemporary home" in the Hancock Park neighborhood of L.A. for $3.08M. The 4,350 square feet of living space "includes living and dining rooms, a center-island kitchen, five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 4/27)....Former NFLer RAY LEWIS is "listing his 28-acre estate" in Baltimore County's horse country for $2.95M. The 6,600-square-foot Reistertown home "has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a theater, sauna, gym, hot tub, elevator, pool and pool house" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 4/25)....Former Cal basketball coach CUONZO MARTIN has sold his home in Piedmont, Calif., for $3M, or $505,000 "over the asking price." Martin, now at Missouri, "bought the house three years ago" for $2.5M. The 4,100 square feet of interior space "includes an elevator, a center-island kitchen, a game room/den, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 4/27)....NHL Kings RW JAROME IGINLA paid $4.5M for a "newly-constructed home" in Boston. The property is a "six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home with a two-story foyer," a "large breakfast room, paneled study, and enormous family room" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 4/27).
